Paul Bezinque
Co-Founder
A Midland, Texas native, Paul graduated from Midland Christian School and later earned his degree in finance from Abilene Christian University. With a background in finance and real estate, he entered the oil and gas industry in 2009. In 2016, he co-founded Rhoades Oil Company with his brother, Joel. The brothers later co-founded ROC Capital Partners, an investment firm that focuses on investments outside of oil and gas.
Paul likes to do business the "old-fashioned” way, where you say what you mean, you do what you say you’ll do, and you treat others how you would like to be treated. He and his family now live in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Outside of work, Paul enjoys traveling with his wonderful wife, Nicole, and showing the world to his two children, Kyla and Luke.
Joel Bezinque
Co-Founder
Joel is a managing member and co-founder of Rhoades Oil Company, established in 2016 alongside his brother, Paul. His primary responsibilities include acquisition activities, modeling evaluations, business development, and overseeing corporate initiatives. He enjoys small-town living and chatting on the phone with mineral owners.
Joel was born and raised in Midland, Texas and graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2010. He now resides in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas, between Austin and San Antonio, with his loving wife, Stephanie, and four children, Kate, Foster, Brooks, and Lane.
Tisa Sanderson
Office Administrator
Tisa is that critical team member that makes everything work and that everyone loves to work with. She’s a critical employee that fixes everything that Paul and Joel mess up. Detail oriented and highly organized, she’ll make sure your deal with Rhoades gets from start to finish in a fast, efficient and friendly way.

About Ralph
Chairman of the Board, Gulf Oil Corporation
Ralph Omer Rhoades, the great uncle of Rhoades Oil Company founders Paul and Joel Bezinque, epitomized unwavering dedication and persistence. Born on July 30, 1895, in Urich, Missouri, Ralph enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during World War I and rose to the rank of Sergeant by 1919.

Following his military service, Ralph pursued his passion for geology at Stanford University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1922. His career took him to Gulf Oil Corporation in 1926, where his relentless work ethic and expertise in exploration led to significant discoveries in the Middle East, notably on Bahrain Island and in Kuwait.

From 1926 to 1958, Ralph served Gulf Oil in various roles before being elected Chairman of the Board in 1959, a testament to his leadership and vision. Known for his steadfast commitment to completing every task, Ralph retired in October 1960 and passed away on July 19, 1961, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and devotion.

In July 1963, Gulf Oil launched the time's largest oil tanker out of Kobe, Japan. It was named the Ralph O. Rhoades.
